What Is Hair Density

Wig density refers to the overall thickness of the hair. Most women prefer standard density for the most natural look. The hair is light around the perimeter and gradually thickens. The hair is not too thin but like a standard head of hair. Choosing a higher density such as 125% 150% or 175% will result in a more thicker wig. 175% is the highest density for instock wigs. The wig will still look natural but it will be very thick.

1. Standard density Light to Medium- The thickness is 100% of an average head. Gives off a natural look. Great for blunt hairstyle. With light to medium it's light at the hairline and the rest is a medium density.

2. Medium density- The thickness is 125% of an average head. This density is very popular. It gives off a more natural look. Perfect for straight hairstyles.

3. Medium to Heavy- The thickness is 150% of an average head. Very Nice and thick. Nice for curly or kinky hairstyles/

4.Heavy- The thickness is 175% of an average head. This density is very thick. Depending on the hairstyle and your preference it can give an unnatural look, but for the most part if you like thick hair then it will be great for you.
